Stephen Schuster is a foundational figure in CAR-T therapy who led the JULIET trial establishing tisagenlecleucel for relapsed/refractory DLBCL. His long-term follow-up studies have demonstrated durable remissions with CAR-T cell therapy and identified factors predicting sustained responses. He has extended CAR-T research to follicular lymphoma with promising results.
