John Schiller is an NIH Distinguished Investigator who co-developed HPV L1 virus-like particle vaccine technology with Douglas Lowy at the NCI. Their partnership produced the foundational science for HPV vaccines and earned the 2017 Lasker Award. He continues to study single-dose HPV vaccination strategies and next-generation HPV vaccines.
