Catherine Sautes-Fridman is a pioneer of the tertiary lymphoid structure (TLS) concept in cancer and has mapped their composition and prognostic value across tumor types. She co-developed the immune contexture framework and linked B cell rich TLS to response to checkpoint blockade. Her team continues to define the molecular drivers of intratumoral TLS formation.
