Bill Saris

Bill Saris leads Lonza's cell and gene therapy manufacturing division, which has become the largest contract development and manufacturing organization for cell therapy products globally. Under his leadership, Lonza developed the Cocoon automated manufacturing platform that enables decentralized, closed-system cell therapy production at clinical and commercial scale. His work has been critical to establishing the CDMO infrastructure needed to support the growing pipeline of cell therapy products.
