👥Biography 个人简介

Sarah Teichmann co-leads the Human Cell Atlas project and has applied its comprehensive single-cell reference maps to cancer research, enabling precise identification of aberrant cell states in tumors by comparison to their normal counterparts. Her laboratory developed CellPhoneDB for inferring cell-cell communication from single-cell data, widely used to map signaling networks within tumor microenvironments. She has created computational tools for automated cell type annotation (CellTypist) that accelerate cancer single-cell analysis across the research community. Her work integrating immune receptor repertoire sequencing with single-cell transcriptomics has revealed clonal expansion patterns of tumor-reactive T cells.
