Neville Sanjana co-developed the GeCKO genome-wide CRISPR knockout library and uses CRISPR screens to identify cancer vulnerabilities and non-coding regulatory elements. His laboratory at NYU and the New York Genome Center applies CRISPR functional genomics to drug target discovery. He is a leading figure in CRISPR screen methodology.
