Sangeetha Bhatt

Sangeetha Bhatt specializes in ctDNA dynamics as biomarkers for immunotherapy response and resistance in solid tumors at UT Southwestern. Her research has characterized ctDNA kinetics during checkpoint inhibitor therapy and identified early molecular response patterns that predict long-term clinical benefit. She developed methylation-based liquid biopsy assays for tumor-of-origin determination in patients with elevated ctDNA. Her work is advancing the use of liquid biopsy for real-time immunotherapy monitoring and early detection of acquired resistance.
