Sangeeta Goswami

Sangeeta Goswami investigates how tumor-associated macrophages modulate the response to T cell checkpoint immunotherapy and how combination strategies targeting both myeloid and T cell compartments can overcome resistance to single-agent IO. Her laboratory has characterized macrophage-T cell crosstalk in the tumor microenvironment of bladder and other cancers. She has contributed to clinical trials combining macrophage-targeting agents with anti-PD-1 therapy. Her translational work bridges myeloid biology and clinical immunotherapy development.
