Sandra Swain

Sandra Swain is a breast oncologist who has contributed to defining optimal chemotherapy regimens in triple-negative breast cancer. She led and contributed to major trials evaluating neoadjuvant and adjuvant chemotherapy in TNBC including the CREATE-X trial demonstrating survival benefit of adjuvant capecitabine in residual disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She has been a leading investigator in multiple breast cancer cooperative group trials and has served as President of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her work has improved outcomes for thousands of TNBC patients globally.
