Samie Jaffrey has developed groundbreaking tools for visualizing RNA modifications in living cells and has made fundamental discoveries about m6A function. His identification of m6Am as a cap-proximal modification regulated by FTO revealed new layers of epitranscriptomic control. His fluorescent RNA aptamer technologies (Spinach, Broccoli) have become essential tools for studying RNA dynamics in cancer cells.
