Sagar Lonial is a leading myeloma physician-scientist who was instrumental in the clinical development of daratumumab and elotuzumab for multiple myeloma. He led the pivotal Eloquent-1 and ELOQUENT-2 trials that established elotuzumab in combination regimens for myeloma. His research has advanced understanding of CD38-targeting antibodies and their mechanisms of action in the bone marrow microenvironment. He has led international myeloma cooperative group trials transforming the treatment landscape.
