👥Biography 个人简介

Stephen Safe has made extensive contributions to understanding the role of nuclear hormone receptors in cancer development beyond reproductive tissues, characterizing the crosstalk between estrogen receptor signaling and Sp transcription factors in promoting cancer cell growth, survival, and metastasis in multiple cancer types. His laboratory at Texas A&M University has identified novel therapeutic strategies targeting nuclear receptor signaling networks in cancers not traditionally considered hormone-dependent. His work bridges environmental toxicology and cancer biology through the aryl hydrocarbon receptor pathway.
