Julia Rowland

Julia Rowland is a psychologist who directed the NCI Office of Cancer Survivorship for nearly two decades and helped establish survivorship as a distinct phase of the cancer care continuum. She has shaped federal priorities around late effects, survivorship care plans, and the psychosocial needs of long-term survivors. Her work defined the modern research agenda in cancer survivorship.
