Rossella Libe

Rossella Libe is a French endocrinologist who has made significant contributions to the ENSAT ACC registry, the largest prospective cohort of adrenocortical carcinoma patients in Europe, including analyses of steroid hormone secretion profiles and their prognostic significance. She has characterized molecular subtypes of ACC defined by genomic drivers including CTNNB1 Wnt pathway activation and TP53 mutations associated with Li-Fraumeni syndrome. Her work on cortisol-secreting ACC has demonstrated worse prognosis due to immunosuppressive effects of excess glucocorticoids on immunotherapy efficacy.
