Steven Rosenberg
MD, PhD
Chief of Surgery Branch
👥Biography 个人简介
Steven Rosenberg is the father of adoptive cell therapy, having demonstrated the curative potential of tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte therapy for metastatic melanoma at the National Cancer Institute and pioneering the development of TCR-engineered T cells targeting cancer-testis antigens in solid tumors. His laboratory developed the foundational techniques for expanding tumor-reactive T cells ex vivo and identified the critical role of lymphodepletion conditioning in enabling adoptive T cell engraftment. His decades of work have established the scientific and clinical framework upon which modern TCR-T cell therapy is built.
