Roisin Connolly

Roisin Connolly is a medical oncologist with expertise in endometrial and carcinosarcoma oncology, as well as epigenetic therapeutic strategies in gynecologic cancers. She has contributed to studies examining molecular subtyping of endometrial carcinosarcoma — a biphasic tumor with aggressive behavior — showing that POLE-mutated and dMMR carcinosarcomas respond to pembrolizumab, while POLE wild-type p53-abnormal tumors have the worst prognosis. She leads investigations into epigenetic reprogramming of gynecologic cancer epigenomes as potential therapeutic vulnerabilities.
