Mark Rohandel investigates arginine auxotrophy in tumors that have lost argininosuccinate synthetase 1 and their vulnerability to arginine depleting agents. His translational work supports clinical trials of pegylated arginine deiminase in sarcoma and hepatocellular carcinoma. He continues to define metabolic determinants of response.
