Roger Stupp established the standard of care for GBM through the landmark EORTC/NCIC trial of concurrent and adjuvant temozolomide with radiotherapy known as the Stupp protocol. He subsequently led the EF-14 trial demonstrating survival benefit from adding tumor treating fields (TTFields) to maintenance temozolomide in newly diagnosed GBM. His work has defined two successive generations of standard treatment for this devastating disease.
