👥Biography 个人简介

Roger Reddel defined the Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres (ALT) pathway as a telomerase-independent mechanism of telomere maintenance in cancer. His work identified ALT-associated PML bodies (APBs), C-circles as ALT biomarkers, and the critical role of ATRX/DAXX mutations in activating ALT. His research has been foundational in developing therapeutic strategies specifically targeting ALT-positive cancers including gliomas and sarcomas.
