👥Biography 个人简介

Roger Kamm has developed tumor-on-chip platforms that incorporate immune cell compartments, vascularization, and extracellular matrix to model tumor-immune interactions in physiologically relevant microenvironments. His microfluidic devices enable real-time imaging of T cell migration toward tumor spheroids, immune cell extravasation through endothelial barriers, and the effects of checkpoint inhibitors on immune-tumor dynamics. He has created vascularized tumor-on-chip models that recapitulate the hypoxic, acidic, and mechanically stiff conditions of the tumor microenvironment. His platforms are being adopted by pharmaceutical companies for immuno-oncology drug screening as more predictive alternatives to traditional in vitro assays.
