Roderick Clifton-Bligh

Roderick Clifton-Bligh at the University of Sydney has contributed to the discovery and characterization of MAX and TMEM127 as hereditary pheochromocytoma predisposition genes. His genetic research on rare hereditary adrenal tumor syndromes has contributed to expanding the spectrum of germline testing indications in pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma. He has been a leader in Australian endocrine oncology research and has contributed to international guidelines for genetic testing in adrenal tumors. His work on novel susceptibility genes has advanced understanding of the hereditary landscape of pheochromocytoma.
