Roberta Prestwich has contributed to research on combining oncolytic viruses with conventional cancer treatments including radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Her work on the mechanistic basis for synergy between oncolytic viruses and radiation, and on the immunological consequences of these combinations, has contributed to optimizing oncolytic virus combination regimens in clinical development.
