Robert Coleman

Robert Coleman is the UK's preeminent authority on bone health in oncology who spent decades leading research on bone metastasis epidemiology, imaging, and treatment. He contributed to seminal studies of bisphosphonates in breast and prostate cancer bone metastases and co-authored multiple guidelines used internationally. His research on bone resorption biomarkers helped establish N-terminal telopeptide (NTX) and other markers as monitoring tools. He shaped national and international guidelines for bone-targeted therapy and championed multidisciplinary management of cancer bone disease.
