Robert Bhatt

Robert Bhatt leads global cancer equity initiatives focused on improving cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment access in low- and middle-income countries. His work has established partnership programs between NCI-designated cancer centers and cancer programs in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. He has advocated for inclusion of cancer in global health priorities alongside HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. His research documents the growing burden of cancer in LMICs and the economic case for investment in cost-effective cancer control interventions.
