Katy Rezvani

Katy Rezvani is a pioneer in cord blood-derived CAR-NK cell therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center, leading the landmark clinical trial demonstrating that off-the-shelf CAR-NK cells can achieve responses in lymphoid malignancies without causing graft-versus-host disease or significant neurotoxicity. Her work on engineering NK cells with CARs, IL-15, and suicide switches has established a new paradigm for allogeneic cell therapy that leverages the inherent safety and anti-tumor properties of NK cells. She is expanding CAR-NK approaches to solid tumors and developing iPSC-derived NK cell platforms.
