👥Biography 个人简介

Regina Barzilay is a leading AI researcher who has made seminal contributions to applying machine learning in oncology and drug discovery. Her group developed deep learning models for breast cancer risk prediction from mammograms outperforming radiologists, and trained AI systems that discovered the antibiotic Halicin using graph neural networks. She applies large language models and ML to drug repurposing and cancer diagnostic challenges. A breast cancer survivor herself, she brings personal motivation to democratizing AI-powered cancer diagnostics and drug discovery.
