Aviv Regev

Aviv Regev co-founded the Human Cell Atlas project and pioneered single-cell RNA sequencing approaches that have transformed our understanding of tumor heterogeneity and the cancer microenvironment. Her computational methods for identifying cancer cell states from single-cell data have revealed previously hidden tumor subpopulations driving resistance and metastasis. Her work establishing large-scale single-cell atlas projects across multiple cancer types has created foundational reference maps for precision oncology.
