Claudius Regaud was a French radiobiologist whose ram testis experiments in the early 20th century demonstrated that fractionated radiation could achieve biological effects not achievable with a single dose. His experiments were the scientific basis for clinical fractionation later practiced by Coutard. He was a founding figure of the Curie Foundation.
