David Reardon has advanced intratumoral immunotherapy approaches for glioblastoma including convection-enhanced delivery of immune agonists and oncolytic viruses directly into brain tumors. His clinical trials have explored in situ vaccination strategies adapted for the unique immune environment of the central nervous system. He has demonstrated the feasibility and potential of intratumoral immune activation for notoriously immunotherapy-resistant brain cancers.
