Rafat Abonour

Rafat Abonour is a hematologist-oncologist with expertise in autologous stem cell transplantation for myeloma and a long-standing commitment to expanding myeloma care access through collaborative community oncology networks. He established the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation's CoMMpass study, a comprehensive longitudinal natural history study that generated a landmark genomic resource for myeloma research. His clinical research addresses outcomes of tandem transplantation in high-risk myeloma and integration of MRD-driven decision-making. He has worked to reduce disparities in access to advanced myeloma treatments.
