👥Biography 个人简介
Quan-Yang Duh is a pioneer in minimally invasive endocrine surgery who helped establish laparoscopic adrenalectomy as the standard approach for adrenal tumors including adrenocortical carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, and Cushing syndrome. His research has characterized safety and oncologic outcomes of laparoscopic versus open adrenalectomy for malignant adrenal tumors, establishing selection criteria for minimally invasive approaches. He has developed and refined minimally invasive approaches for thyroid cancer, parathyroid tumors, and other endocrine malignancies, training numerous surgeons in these techniques nationally and internationally. His contributions to endocrine surgical oncology have made curative surgery for endocrine tumors less morbid and more accessible to patients worldwide.
