Mandi Pratt-Chapman

Mandi Pratt-Chapman has developed evidence-based cancer care navigation models at George Washington University that address the unique barriers faced by rural and underserved populations in accessing timely cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship care. Her work on patient navigation programs has demonstrated that trained navigators can significantly reduce time to treatment and improve adherence to recommended cancer care in rural communities. She leads national efforts to standardize patient navigation training and certification for oncology settings.
