Sarina Piha-Paul

Sarina Piha-Paul has led pioneering clinical trials evaluating allogeneic gamma-delta T cell therapies in solid tumors, demonstrating that ex vivo expanded Vdelta1 and Vdelta2 T cells can be safely administered without HLA matching and produce objective responses in heavily pretreated patients with diverse tumor types. Her phase I/II studies established dosing, safety, and preliminary efficacy parameters for gamma-delta T cell infusion products including combination with checkpoint inhibitors. She has advanced the clinical development of off-the-shelf gamma-delta T cell therapies as a practical alternative to autologous CAR-T approaches.
