Pierce Chow

Pierce Chow is a hepatic surgeon and clinician-scientist who led the SIRveNIB trial comparing selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with sorafenib in advanced HCC, and has been instrumental in developing Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) HCC guidelines. His research addresses surgical resection outcomes, recurrence management, and the high burden of HCC in hepatitis B-endemic countries across Asia. He co-chairs the APASL HCC guidelines committee and has contributed to international consensus conferences on HCC management.
