Pier Luigi Zinzani is one of Europe's foremost lymphoma experts and a prolific clinical investigator in follicular lymphoma. He has led and participated in pivotal trials of obinutuzumab, rituximab-based regimens, and novel PI3K inhibitors in follicular lymphoma. His research spans frontline and relapsed/refractory FL, with contributions to understanding optimal maintenance strategies and management of transformation. He is a founding member of multiple Italian and European lymphoma cooperative groups and serves in leadership roles at ESMO and ICML.
