Philippe Gaulard is a world-renowned hematopathologist who has made transformative contributions to the molecular classification of T-cell lymphomas, particularly characterizing the cell of origin and molecular drivers (IDH2, RHOA, TET2 mutations) of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) and follicular T-helper (TFH) cell-derived lymphomas. His work underpins current WHO classification and has identified actionable targets in these diseases.
