Jillian Phallen

Jillian Phallen developed TEC-Seq (targeted error correction sequencing) for ultrasensitive detection of cancer mutations in cell-free DNA and has extended fragmentomics approaches to minimal residual disease monitoring. Her work demonstrated that combining mutation detection with fragmentation analysis significantly improves sensitivity for post-treatment cancer surveillance. Her research on longitudinal cfDNA fragmentation monitoring has shown that fragmentation patterns change dynamically with treatment response and resistance.
