Petros Christopoulos

Petros Christopoulos is a translational thoracic oncologist focused on the molecular mechanisms of SCLC progression, neuroendocrine differentiation, and therapy resistance. His research has addressed circulating tumor cell analysis in SCLC, plasticity between SCLC molecular subtypes, and predictive genomic biomarkers for response to novel agents including tarlatamab. He participates in European SCLC trial networks and investigates rare SCLC features including transformation from NSCLC. His work advances understanding of SCLC biology and how molecular subtyping can guide future therapeutic development.
