👥Biography 个人简介

Peter van den Elsen has made important contributions to understanding the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of MHC and antigen processing genes in cancer. His work revealed how cancer cells silence TAP1, TAP2, and tapasin through promoter methylation and histone deacetylation, disrupting the peptide loading complex. He has shown that epigenetic drugs can restore antigen processing machinery expression and improve immunotherapy response.
