Dr. Peter Sorger developed CyCIF (Cyclic Immunofluorescence), a multiplexed tissue imaging method that enables spatial profiling of dozens of protein markers in FFPE tumor specimens. His laboratory has used CyCIF to map the spatial organization of cancer and immune cells in colorectal, melanoma, and ovarian tumors, revealing spatial patterns linked to immunotherapy response. His work bridges computational systems biology with spatial single-cell analysis.
