Peter Black at UBC is a urologic oncologist who has contributed to optimizing management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), including BCG therapy optimization, alternatives for BCG-unresponsive disease, and bladder cancer recurrence surveillance strategies. His clinical research has addressed the high unmet need in BCG-refractory NMIBC where new intravesical options including nadofaragene firadenovec and pembrolizumab have emerged.
