Peter Black is a leading urologic oncologist and bladder cancer researcher who has contributed extensively to understanding BCG immunotherapy and surgical treatment of bladder cancer. His research on non-muscle invasive bladder cancer has addressed BCG resistance and alternative intravesical therapies. He has advanced molecular subtyping of bladder cancer to guide treatment selection, including identification of basal and luminal subtypes. His translational research bridges basic science with clinical outcomes in bladder cancer management.
