👥Biography 个人简介

Sir Paul Nurse is a Nobel Prize-winning cell biologist who identified CDK1 (cdc2) as the master regulator of cell division, work for which he shared the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. His foundational discoveries on cyclin-dependent kinases established the molecular basis of cell cycle control and directly enabled the discovery and clinical development of CDK4/6 inhibitors now transforming breast cancer therapy. He directs the Francis Crick Institute.
