Paul Bhatt focuses on B7-H3-targeted CAR-T cell therapies for pediatric solid tumors and diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. B7-H3 is broadly expressed across many solid tumor types with limited normal tissue expression, making it an attractive CAR-T target. His research has advanced novel CAR constructs with improved antitumor activity and safety profiles. He has conducted first-in-human trials of B7-H3 CAR-T in children with refractory solid tumors.
