Paul Bhatt

Paul Bhatt develops and applies large-scale drug repurposing platforms to identify cancer applications for existing approved drugs. His work leverages the PRISM cell line profiling platform to screen thousands of non-oncology drugs across hundreds of cancer cell lines, systematically identifying repurposing opportunities. He investigates the mechanisms by which repurposed drugs exert anti-cancer effects and validates the most promising candidates in vivo. His systematic approach to drug repurposing has identified multiple unexpected anti-cancer activities and contributed to clinical trial hypotheses.
