Patricia Ganz

Patricia Ganz is the preeminent authority on cancer survivorship and quality of life endpoints in oncology clinical trials, having led NSABP and cooperative group trials that pioneered patient-reported outcomes as primary and secondary endpoints. Her work has established survivorship as a scientific discipline within oncology and contributed to national survivorship care plan guidelines. She led the Institute of Medicine report on cancer survivorship that shaped oncology care policy. Ganz continues to lead NCI-funded survivorship research programs and mentor the next generation of survivorship scientists.
