Electra Paskett

Electra Paskett is a nationally recognized expert in cancer disparities research at Ohio State University, with particular focus on understanding and addressing the elevated cancer burden in rural Appalachian communities. Her community-based interventions to improve cancer screening uptake in rural populations have demonstrated that culturally tailored approaches delivered through trusted community channels can significantly increase screening rates. She leads multi-state initiatives to reduce the disproportionate cancer mortality experienced by rural populations through targeted screening, navigation, and telehealth programs.
