Ann Partridge

Ann Partridge led the POSITIVE trial that demonstrated the safety of temporarily interrupting endocrine therapy for young women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer to attempt pregnancy, fundamentally changing the management of fertility in this population. Her research on young women with breast cancer has addressed the unique psychosocial and medical challenges including fertility preservation, pregnancy planning, and survivorship care. Her work on fertility decision-making in oncology has improved counseling practices to ensure all reproductive-age cancer patients receive timely fertility information.
