Ozlem Tureci

Ozlem Tureci is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of BioNTech, where she has led clinical development of individualized mRNA cancer vaccines. She identified numerous tumor-associated antigens and developed strategies to target them with mRNA-based therapeutics. Her clinical research programs have advanced individualized neoantigen therapy from concept to clinical reality, demonstrating efficacy in melanoma and other solid tumors. She has been instrumental in translating mRNA vaccine technology from infectious disease to oncology.
