🎓Key Contributions 主要贡献

Prostate Cancer Screening Policy and Over-diagnosis

Led the evidence-based revision of prostate cancer screening recommendations at the American Cancer Society, demonstrating through population data that PSA screening had produced epidemic over-diagnosis, and influencing the USPSTF to revise national guidelines — a globally watched model for evidence-based guideline reform.

Cancer Disparities Documentation and Advocacy

Produced landmark analyses of the causes of excess cancer mortality in African American and low-income populations, demonstrating that access disparities rather than biology account for the majority of the Black-White cancer mortality gap, and advocated successfully for NCI investments in cancer disparities research exceeding $500 million.
